Service Agreement

DRAFT EVENT/LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE AGREEMENT

SERRA RIBEIRO PHOTOGRAPHY

This agreement concerns the provision of event/lifestyle photography services for (NAME), hereinafter referred to as the "client," to take place on (DATE). The photographer, Rui de Vasconcelos Serra Ribeiro, representing the company Serra Ribeiro photography, will be referred to as the "contractor."

1 - Image Collection

a) The contractor will capture images at the locations listed below, documenting and illustrating the event/lifestyle photography, most important and relevant moments with the highest quality and professionalism.

2 - Service Details

Contracted service and detailed description, including locations and schedules.

3 - Delivery of Work

a) The selected photographs will be individually edited.

The photographic work will be delivered in digital format with print resolution via an app and in web resolution through an online gallery (password protected) within 30 days after the event/lifestyle date, depending on the volume of work to be produced.

b) The gallery will remain active for 60 days.

c) Clients can mark photos as private, download and share the gallery link with guests, mark favourites, comment, and even order prints and albums through the online gallery.

d) A backup of the work will be stored on an external hard drive for 2 years.

4 - Responsibilities

a) The client must provide information, schedules, and locations, as well as any necessary authorizations, to allow the contractor to perform the agreed services under the best conditions.

b) The client must download the complete work within the specified timeframe.

c) In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to serious illness, accident, or death, which demonstrably prevents either the holding of the wedding or the provision of the photographic services, the affected party shall provide official documentation proving the situation (such as a medical certificate, death certificate, or other legally recognized document). In such circumstances:

If the impossibility concerns the client, the contracted company undertakes to refund in full all amounts received as a reservation within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days;

If the impossibility concerns the responsible photographer, the contracted company undertakes to refund in full all amounts paid by the client within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days and to make all reasonable efforts to appoint and/or replace the responsible photographer with another professional of equivalent experience, subject to the client’s prior agreement. The client shall be free to accept or decline such replacement. In the event of refusal, the full refund of the amounts paid shall be final and definitive, and no further compensation shall be due.

5 - Add-ons

a) Additional services can be added up to 15 days before the event date.

6 - Payment

a) A bank transfer of €100 is required to secure the date.

b) After receiving the reservation amount, this agreement comes into effect and the provider will send it signed, with confirmation of the amount received.

c) After the planning meeting, the remaining balance must be paid up to one week before the event date. Failure to pay in full within this period will make it impossible to provide the service, and the deposit will not be refunded.
