Service Agreement
SERRA RIBEIRO PHOTOGRAPHY
This agreement governs the provision of photography services for the event/photoshoot of [CLIENT NAME], hereinafter referred to as the Client, taking place on [DATE], by the photographer Rui de Vasconcelos Serra Ribeiro, operating under the brand Serra Ribeiro Photography, hereinafter referred to as the Photographer.
1. Coverage and Image Capture
a) Image capture will be carried out by the Photographer at the agreed locations, documenting the most relevant moments with the highest quality, rigor, and professionalism.
2. Description of Services
Contracted service, locations, and schedule: [INSERT DETAILS, LOCATIONS, AND SCHEDULE]
3. Delivery of Work
a) Selected photographs will be individually edited.
b) The final work will be delivered in high-resolution digital format (print-ready) via download, and in web resolution in a private online gallery (password-protected), within a maximum period of 30 days following the event/photoshoot date.
c) The online gallery will remain active for 60 days. During this period, the Client can download images, mark photos as private, share access with guests, select favorites, leave comments, and order prints or albums directly through the platform.
d) The Photographer guarantees a backup copy of the final work on an external hard drive for 2 years from the delivery date.
4. Responsibilities and Force Majeure
a) The Client is responsible for providing all necessary information, schedules, locations, and authorizations in a timely manner.
b) The Client agrees to fully download the final work within the 60-day validity period of the online gallery.
c) In the event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, serious illness, accident, or death) that demonstrably prevents the event or photography services from taking place, the affected party must present official legal proof (e.g., medical certificate).
Under these circumstances:
- Client Impossibility: The Photographer will make all reasonable efforts to reschedule the event/photoshoot to a mutually available date within 12 months, maintaining the booking deposit. If rescheduling is not possible due to reasons attributable exclusively to the Client, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Photographer Impossibility: The Photographer agrees to fully refund all amounts paid by the Client within 15 business days, and will make reasonable efforts to recommend/replace the photographer with an equivalent professional, subject to the Client's approval. In case of refusal, the refund will be full and final, with no further compensation due.
5. Complementary Services
a) Complementary services or products may be added to the initial agreement prior to the event date upon mutual agreement.
6. Payment Terms
a) The booking deposit to secure the date is made via bank transfer in the agreed amount of [DEPOSIT AMOUNT].
b) This agreement comes into effect upon receipt of the deposit, at which point the Photographer confirms the amount received and validates the reservation.
c) The remaining balance must be settled via bank transfer up to 7 days before the event date.

Note: This agreement is governed by Portuguese law. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between translated versions, the Portuguese language version shall prevail for legal purposes in Portugal.
